Contesting a challenge isn't the same as winning it.
Every 50/50 in the replay gets tagged win, loss, or neutral, plus whiffs and getting beaten to the ball outright, plotted on a contact map so you see exactly where you're striking your challenges. Over enough matches, that turns into a real answer on whether your challenges are actually landing.
